What I Couldn’t Untangle

The storm doesn’t always look like chaos on the outside. Sometimes it’s the quiet, unseen battles, old memories that sting, words that still echo, questions that don’t have easy answers. Today I felt those waves rise again. Instead of pushing them down, I brought them to Jesus like a pile of tangled ropes. I told Him where it hurt, where I felt small, where I still didn’t understand. I didn’t walk away with every question solved, but I did walk away with peace that didn’t make sense. It’s as if He whispered, “You don’t have to fix the storm to rest in Me.” Safe Harbor isn’t the absence of waves; it’s the presence of Jesus in the boat.  “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” ~Philippians 4:7
