Recently, my thoughts have been centered on the burdens people carry. Some are visible, while others are tucked quietly away behind a smile, a busy schedule, or a simple “I’m fine.”

 

That is part of what led me to Hope from the Harbor.

 

I wanted to create something simple. A few moments in God’s Word. A little encouragement. A reminder that no matter what the day holds, there is hope in Jesus. Not everyone has time to read a full Bible study. Sometimes one Scripture, one truth, or one small reminder is enough to steady the heart.

 

That is what I want Hope from the Harbor to be.

 - A little light in the fog.
 - A word that points back to the Lighthouse.
 - A reminder to come find safe harbor today.

 

I may never know who reads a post at exactly the right moment, but God does. So I will keep sending hope from the Harbor, one day at a time. Sometimes one small light is enough to help someone find the Harbor.
