Not Alone in the Boat
Some days the sea is calm, but my heart is not. Nothing dramatic is happening on the outside, yet inside I feel restless, like I’m drifting with no anchor. Today I brought that quiet ache to Jesus. I didn’t have fancy words—just a simple, honest prayer: “Lord, I feel lost. Will You hold me?” As I sat in the stillness, I remembered that He doesn’t ask me to have it all together; He asks me to come. The more I name my worries in His presence, the more I sense His steady hand on my shoulder. I may not see the shoreline yet, but I’m not alone in this boat. That’s enough for today.
